The cards, the charts, the dice and the rules are exactly the same; the only difference is the screen does the shuffling, keeps the clock and fills in the scoresheet. You play on your own, at your own pace. A game is a handful of highlights each period, the moments that actually decide it. A roll of the D12 at the opening face-off sets how many, from fourteen to twenty-one across the night. You win the draw on the Possession chart, deal a card, read what the play demands, roll for it, and see if the puck goes in.

49HH puts you on the ice for every rush: which of your men has the puck, whether his skill is up to what the card is asking, and whether your goalie is solid tonight or shaky. Every player in every lineup is rated from the real season's data, so the sniper who scored fifty is the one you want the puck coming to in the slot.

Pick a club, and its schedule becomes yours to play. The Season Companion that comes with every 49HH season takes care of everything else: the rest of the league plays out around you, and the standings, scorers and goalie stats keep themselves. Line changes, power plays and penalty kills, the odd bounce, pulling the goalie, overtime and shootouts are all in. Set your lines, pairs and special-teams units in the Team Customizer, press "Play this game" in the Companion, and the game is waiting in Cards & Charts. When it's over, the result goes back to the Companion by itself.

It runs in the browser you already have. There's nothing to install, no account, and no internet needed after the download. Your season lives on your own computer, not on somebody's server.

The download includes Cards & Charts which is the full game and the PWHL 2025-26 season so you can start playing right away. When you first open Cards & Charts, Pip, the little 49 figure, walks you through your first game. The seasons are sold separately, each with its Team Charts, Team Customizer and Season Companion. NHL seasons run from 1955-56 to 2025-26, plus the 1976-77 WHA.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0785/4342/1742/files/49Hockey_Highlight_Logo_for_512x512_03346326-8dc8-4f1e-b924-a0ac6abbdac7.png?v=1791249526
