49Soccer Highlights is a dice-and-chart football (soccer) game you play on your own, at your own pace. A match is fifteen highlight cards — the moments that actually decide a game — and it takes fifteen to twenty minutes once you have the rhythm. You deal a card, read what the play demands, roll for it, and determine the outcome.

49SH puts you in the middle of every attack: which of your men is on the ball, whether his skill is up to what the card is asking, whether your keeper gets there. Every player in every squad is rated from the real season's data, so the striker who scored twenty in real life is the one you want the ball falling to.

Pick a club and its fixtures become yours to play. Everything else is taken care of — you choose whether the rest of the league or cup goes exactly as it really did, or gets replayed by the same simulator the ratings were built on, so nobody knows the table. Substitutions, red cards, coaching switches, penalties, set pieces and offside are all in, and the league table, the scorers and the bracket keep themselves as you go.

It runs in the browser you already have. Nothing to install, no account, no internet needed after the download — and your season lives on your own computer, not on somebody's server.

The download includes the game, the rules, and the 1970 World Cup — sixteen nations, ready to play straight away. Season and tournament sets for the Premier League, La Liga, MLS and the 2022 and 2026 World Cups are sold separately.
